COURSES ON THE KITZSTEINHORN GLACIER

 

Surrounded by one of the most beautiful and varied landscapes of Austria, the Kitzsteinhorn is a glacial ski area extending over 3,000 meters in altitude, and is from October to July, our ideal training ground. Countless slopes and extensive terrain of all difficulty levels guarantee optimal training conditions. In the immediate vicinity of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, there are also numerous other ski resorts such as Zell am See, Kitzbühel and Saalbach-Hinterglemm. After winter sports on the mountain the thermal baths in "Tauern Spa" or the beautiful Lake Zell can be easily reached and there are endless restaurants and Aprés Ski bars to indulge in.

COURSES IN ISCHGL

 

The Tyrolean ski resort Ischgl is one of the most popular ski resorts in Austria. Luxurious hotels, restaurants and sports shops decorate the village, surrounded by numerous snow-capped peaks. An almost endless network of slopes, and above all terrain and variables, make Ischgl always a fantastic experience.

As part of our international training at the Ski Center in Parnassos, ski and snowboard enthusiasts will get to know a less known but at least equally beautiful side of Greece. Skiing is at an altitude between 1,600 and 2,250 meters on 36 kilometers of slopes with 17 lifts in high alpine terrain. This makes Parnassos the most famous and largest ski resort in Greece. Approximately 200 km North West of Athens, Parnassos is reachable by car in about 2.5 hours.

The Dutch are a population very enthusiastic about mountains and snowsport. On plastic pistes, indoor rolling ski slopes and the construction of indoor ski centers with real snow, there are many opportunities for skiing and snowboarding in the Netherlands. Since the year 2000, the Snowsports Academy has been training ski and snowboard instructors in many various Dutch ski centers. All courses in the indoor ski centers is carried out in German.

COURSES IN JAPAN

 

This course is carried out by our partners "Ski Instructor Academy" (SIA) and includes:
 
Japan is known for freeriding due to its massive amount of snowfall and several meter high snow depths. Also for ski instructors, Japan is an adventure in itself. Turn your hobby into a profession and get to know the culture of Japan. The training takes place in Austria or Argentina. After successful completion, you will then go to Japan, where you spend the winter as a ski instructor. 
 

PREPARATIONAL COURSE (10 DAYS / 2 WEEKS)

In this course, the participants are gradually introduced to the training, step by step. The aim is to improve ski technique, physical performance as well as the theoretical, linguistic and methodical content related to being a ski instructor. Snowsports Academy is particularly supportive in the development of the Korean ski instruction plan and progressions. Snowsports Academy also works closely with the co-ordination and training of the Korean ski instructor Demo team.
