THE PERFECT CONNECTION OF PRACTICAL AND THEORETICAL WINTERSPORT MATTERS THAT MAKE US MOVE
The Snowsports Academy invites you to the wonderful region of Zell am See - Kaprun to exchange your expertise with other international experts. Discuss and listen to lectures on various aspects of the "future of winter sports". In addition to lively discussions at the podium and the more intimate chats by the fireplace, there will be extensive practical workshops offered on the snow.
THE PROGRAMME
True to our motto "Snow Connecting People", the boundaries between the teams, shops, businesses, individuals and participants are overcome and experiences are shared and exchanged from the various areas of the winter sports and leisure industry.
Practical workshops on the snow
Every morning we head to the Kitzsteinhorn onto the workshops for joint training and international exchange of ideas and experiences. In addition, current news from the winter sports industry are presented.
Ski Tourism & Annual Tourism
Stepping away from the classical seasonal tourism: How can a destination best combine its various strengths to create an even more attractive offer for its guests? We address this exciting question in depth with lectures, case studies and discussions.
Human resource management
Move on from the cliché of unemployed seasonal workers: How can each individual employee be motivated and promoted as effectively as possible through effective staff management? The conference offers a platform for visions, structures and training tactics to maintain the attractiveness of seasonal work. The goal for people is to switch between individual jobs and industries in order to broaden future prospects.
The future of the snow sports industry
Away from the lone warrior: How can synergies between the mechanical snow production, the complex slope grooming and winter sports equipment be found and used to everyones advantage? We want to create an understanding between the main players in the industry and through all areas. Whether natural or man-made snow, grooming a slope is a very complex topic that needs to be examined in more detail. One of the challenges for the industry, in turn, is to produce skis and boards that correspond to the varying snow conditions.
