At first glance, SnowConnectingPeople appears to be a simple, modern slogan. Three words, clear and memorable. But for the Snowsports Academy, it means far more than that: it captures what we stand for – and how we live and teach snowsports.
SnowConnectingPeople represents an attitude. Snow is not just a backdrop, but a connecting force.
Snow as a connecting element
Snow is much more than the basis for sporting activity. It creates a space where people come together and share experiences.Whether skiing, snowboarding, or spending everyday course life together, snow becomes the common ground on which exchange, trust, and a sense of community develop.
A blend of cultures and languages
In Snowsports Academy courses, people from a wide range of countries, cultures, and language backgrounds come together. In international courses, participants from nearly 40 different countries take part.
This diversity shapes daily course life. People with different training paths, perspectives, and levels of experience learn and train together in the snow. Linguistic, cultural, and national differences do not disappear – but they become secondary, united by a shared passion for snowsports.

International encounters in snowsports
The international courses of the Snowsports Academy clearly demonstrate how snowsports can overcome boundaries. Shared experiences in the mountains create closeness and mutual understanding.
Even when different mentalities or expectations meet, working together in the snow – supported by professional guidance and clear structures – is enough to build trust and allow genuine community to grow.

Training, learning, and experience
The focus of the training lies on ski and snowboard technique, safety, and methodological and didactic skills. At the same time, the shared course setting creates space for exchange, mutual support, and personal development.
Beyond structured sessions, there is time to experience the alpine environment and gain individual impressions. For many, this is a first encounter with the Austrian Alps; for others, it offers a new perspective on snowsports.
Looking ahead: SnowConnectingPeople in spring
This connecting power becomes especially tangible in spring. When people from different countries come together to learn and develop further, the idea of SnowConnectingPeople turns into lived reality.
One example of this are the international spring courses of the Snowsports Academy:
