A Stylish Start to the Winter Season: Ski Austria Unveils New Team Outfits at EUROPARK Salzburg

Two weeks before the official kick-off of the Ski World Cup in Sölden, a special event took place at EUROPARK Salzburg: the official presentation of the new Ski Austria team outfits. However, this day wasn’t about hitting the slopes. Instead, the stars of the Austrian Ski Federation swapped skis for high heels and skis for the catwalk, as they showcased their new outfits for the upcoming winter season during a spectacular fashion show.

A Stylish Entry into the New Season

Before a large crowd of winter sports fans, the ski champions strutted down the runway, revealing the brand-new outfits that will make them look great both on and off the slopes. The combination of functionality and style impressed both the audience and the athletes themselves, who proudly displayed their red-white-red colors. Manuel Feller (Alpine Skiing), Vincent Kriechmayr (Alpine Skiing), Anna Gasser (Snowboarding), Stefan Kraft (Ski Jumping), Anna Gandler (Biathlon), and Stephanie Venier (Alpine Skiing) were the stars of the show, winning over the crowd with their relaxed demeanor.

Stars Up Close and a Versatile Program

The fashion show was just one part of a diverse program that had something for both young and old. Young winter sports fans especially had plenty to enjoy: at a children's press conference, the "heroes of tomorrow" asked the athletes questions and gained fascinating insights into the lives of professional sports stars. The athletes showed their humorous and approachable sides, patiently answering each question. Another highlight was the interactive stations, where visitors could try their hand at winter sports themselves. Whether on the downhill simulator, at the biathlon shooting range, or in jumping competitions, the excitement for the winter season was palpable.

RollSkiSlope Brings Skiing Thrills to the Shopping Center

A major attraction was the A1 RollSkiSlope, brought by the Snowsports Academy. This innovative machine allowed visitors to experience real skiing sensations without snow. Under the expert guidance of the instructor team, many children and adults tested their skiing skills on the moving slope. Even ÖSV stars Stefan Brennsteiner and Kathi Huber took the chance to try the RollSkiSlope, proving they were in their element even away from the real slopes.

The mix of fashion, sports, and interactive activities delighted both young and old, sparking excitement for the upcoming winter season. As the athletes now prepare for the World Cup start in Sölden, fans are already dreaming of white slopes and spectacular competitions – and maybe even gearing up to hit the slopes themselves, whether on real snow or the RollSkiSlope.
