With the completion of the spring courses in May, an exceptionally intense and successful winter season comes to an end for the Snowsports Academy. Since autumn, our team has been active both in Austria and around the globe – with one goal: to inspire people for snow sports and to professionally support them on their path to becoming ski or snowboard instructors.

After the traditional autumn courses at the Kitzsteinhorn, the season began with a strong focus on the eastern regions of Austria. In December, January, and February, our training courses took place in the ski areas of St. Corona, Niederalpl, Semmering, and Stuhleck. Despite limited snow at times, training was carried out with great dedication – once again proving that Vienna and its surroundings hold a firm place in Austria’s ski tradition.

March brought us the best possible conditions: sunshine, stable snow, and highly motivated participants made for fantastic courses. At Pass Thurn and the Kitzsteinhorn, the perfect conditions were used for advanced instructor courses and race camps – accompanied by strong commitment on the slopes and an extra dose of team spirit off them.

April was filled with one highlight after another. Particularly impressive: the international spring course with 150 participants from over 30 nations. No course embodies our motto "SnowConnectingPeople" more than this one – where people from different backgrounds, cultures, and languages meet, united by one shared passion: snow sports. That same international energy was also felt at our courses in Gudauri (Georgia), Kalavrita (Greece), the Netherlands, and China – proving once again that snow sports know no borders.

Another highlight was the traditional Easter course at the Kitzsteinhorn with over 200 participants. Despite the late date, the glacier resort showed its best side. All course levels – from entry-level to advanced – were successfully completed. For the first time, an alpine training module was also integrated into the Easter course, making a valuable addition to the overall program.

The season concluded with our May course, once again at the Kitzsteinhorn, and another alpine course in Ischgl. These focused on safety, terrain techniques, and avalanche awareness – topics that also promote personal growth.

What remains from this season? Around 3,000 newly trained ski and snowboard instructors, numerous new international partnerships – and great anticipation for what's to come. As always, our team will soon head to Dubai to continue promoting snow sports and training enthusiasts even there.

A special thank-you goes out to our international partners – the Ski Instructor Academy and Ski-IL. With their dedicated work and valuable input, they’ve made an important contribution to the ongoing development of our training programs.

We also sincerely thank our instructor team, who week after week bring their expertise, experience, and passion for snow sports to make each course truly special.

And last but not least, a heartfelt thank-you to all participants who placed their trust in the Snowsports Academy.
