Date: 28th - 30th of November 2022, Munich
ISPO Munich is the leading trade fair for the international sports business. This is where global sports trends are set, products are presented exclusively to the specialist audience and deals are made.
After a two-year Covid break, ISPO Munich will take place again from November 28th to 30th, 2022 at the Munich Exhibition Center. The restart is under the motto:
"New perspectives on sports".
New this year: A centrally located Future Lab in which i.a. all relevant topics related to innovation, trade, digitization and sustainability are discussed and shown. In a total of ten halls, exhibitors and visitors can finally exchange ideas personally on site.
Future Lab: The new heart of ISPO Munich
As the new centerpiece, the innovation laboratory should not only offer a space for experience for innovations and transformation, but also look beyond the horizon of your own industry in the Retail, Digitize and Sustainability Hub.
The hall is a stage for the numerous athletes, for the ISPO Award and of course also for the ISPO Cup Night. The presentation of the newly designed ISPO Cup will also take place in the Future Lab on the evening of the first day of the fair. In the future, it will be used to honor initiatives by athletes and sports influencers who make a positive contribution to society.
Conference with top-class speakers
The ISPO Munich Conference also finds its stage in the Future Lab. Leading figures from the industry as well as experts from other areas discuss the most explosive topics such as sustainability, inclusion and diversity as well as the challenges for logistics and trade. Speakers include Merijn Dols, Global Director for Open Innovation and Circular Economy at Danone, Laura Santucci, former member of the Obama administration and former director of the World Food Program, and Hunter Lovins, CEO Natural Capitalism Solutions and member of the Club of Rome.
New date and international exhibitors
The new ISPO Munich concept also includes the new date at the end of November and thus at the start of the order period. In total, exhibitors from 55 countries will be represented. Among them are around 60 start-ups and 400 brands that have never been represented at ISPO. Another innovation is that the stand size has been reduced to a maximum of 200 square meters.
"ISPO has long been more than just a sporting goods trade fair. How important and valuable ISPO Munich is as a global industry meeting place, where the focus is on personal contacts between manufacturers, specialist retailers and other industry players, is shown by the very high internationality of the exhibitors, despite the travel restrictions that still prevail in some cases 90 percent,” says Lena Haushofer, Exhibition Director of ISPO Munich.
